This even will take place at Bread Loaf Mountain Monastery, 3958 Rte 30, Cornwall VT, 05753.
We will dedicate our new Zendo and offer the Precepts. The ceremony will be our first with Bread Loaf Mountain Zen Community – a rather special event. Sue Grigg and Colleen Brown, who are sangha members and friends to many in the Middlebury community will come before the community to state their intention to live by vow. It is a joyous celebration and a very old, somewhat formal, and graceful liturgy. I truly hope you will join us to bear witness to the commitment of these two practitioners to walk the path of a Zen Peacemaker.
A pot luck will be served after the dedication and precepts ceremony. Please bring a nutritious dish to share. Please carpool if you can, and park in the driveway and behind the red barn. For your safety and the safety of others, please do not park on the street.
