Kathryn Schloff was born in 1950 in rural Nebraska. Her parents were farmer/schoolteachers and she lived among extended family on farms all around her, she attended the University of Nebraska, then with her husband Merle, moved to Vermont in 1972 and has lived here ever since.She has taught elementary school, and for most of her life in Vermont, raised 3 kids and worked in her family furniture manufacturing and retail business.
In the past 20 years, dying fabric for quilt making has been her enthusiastic and satisfying hobby.
