This is the gift of the Great Turning. When we open our eyes to what is happening, even when it breaks our hearts, we discover our true size; for our heart, when it breaks open, can hold the whole universe. ~ Joanna Macy ~
Mary Richards and John Parker will be co-facilitating monthly BLMZC Ecodharma gatherings formed with an intentional effort to bring Buddhists across the world together in a common space to bear witness and grapple with climate disruption, to open our hearts to the unknown and all possibilities, and to spearhead right action. As representatives of BLMZC, we will be collaborating with One Earth Sangha and participating in the Discovering Our Unshakeable Response EcoSattva Training: an eight-part, self-paced course to deepen our collective Buddhist response to ecological crisis. In our heart-minds this work is essential; there’s no time to lose.
The fee for the training is on a sliding scale from $60 to $400, and all BLMZC participants receive 25% off by registering as part of our BLMZC group. Registration is open! To register, please email Mary Richards at richards_mary@asdk12.org and she’ll provide a link for you to join our group and pay the group rate of your choice.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible. If cost is an obstacle, One Earth Sangha offers discounted (or free) registration. All are needed and welcome!
